My daughter must've been around 6 years old. We were stuck in a traffic jam. From the backseat, she asked pensively, "If electric cars create less pollution why doesn't everyone drive an electric car?" 

Suddenly she perked up. With glee in her eyes she followed it up with "Why don't they make sparkly cars with diamonds all over it?"

And then, "Do diamonds cause pollution, mama?"

Sigh...
