Alright, now that the last minute gift situation is handled, let's take a look at this week's article... 🙂

As a parent, peer pressure in kids is a scary thing because it is so out of our control!

Add to that the digital age where the pressure is amplified multi-fold by screens, and the scariness factor jumps up by orders of magnitude.

What can we do as parents to raise kids with a strong sense of self-image who won't get easily influenced by peer pressure—be it from those around them or the ubiquitous ether of the Internet?

This is the question that Jean Merrill, a mom from our community handles for us today. She starts by discussing what we can do from the time our kids are toddlers all the way to teens to instill that strong self-image that can stand up to peer pressure. She doesn't stop there though and goes into looking at practical steps for us to take if/when our kids start having trouble with social media pressure and good old peer pressure.

As a mom in the trenches dealing with this right now😔, this is something I needed to read today! I hope you find it as helpful as I did!
