How often do you say "good job!" to your kids?

A few times a week? A few times a day? Maybe even a few times an hour?

When we're trying to be positive, it's so easy to slip into the habit of saying "good job", isn't it?

Research however shows that "good job" is a very ineffective way to offer positive encouragement.
